During the Eastern Zhou Dynasty in China, a game similar to bumper cars, called "Jigu," emerged, involving chasing and colliding.
Bumper cars come in various types, including battery-powered bumper cars, and those with overhead or ground nets. Battery-powered bumper cars have lower requirements for the track surface, while overhead and ground net bumper cars require more stringent conditions.
Water-based bumper cars, as an innovative direction, utilize waterproof designs and environmentally friendly materials, and are equipped with intelligent control systems, interactive water spray functions, LED lighting, and VR experiences. An international team once modified a bumper car, mounting it with a motorcycle engine, creating a record for the "world's fastest bumper car" with an average speed of approximately 160 km/h.
